I can't adjust color, etc using Nvidia on my VGN-AR21M

How can I adjust the color, contrast, gamma, etc on my Vaio VGN-AR21M laptop?

When I open the Nvidia Control Panel, all I can do is change image settings and display configurations. The Nvidia help section talks about being able to change color, etc, but there's no menu that allows it.

I've got a feeling the Sony version of the Nvidia driver doesn't permit such changes (don't ask me why).

If I download the latest driver from Nvideo for my GeForce Go 7600, I can't get it to install. It says to go to Sony and get their latest driver - I've already got that installed!

How on earth can anyone calibrate a Vaio laptop if there's no settings to adjust!

Anyone help?

Regards

John

Hi John,

You will need an updated driver. To point you in the right direction, are you still using XP or have you upgraded to Vista?

You can alternatively create a new screen colour profile using Adobe Gamma or Spyder 2 Pro.

Hi

Thanks for replying.

I'm using Vista but, I fixed it!

I eventually tracked down this driver - http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...howtopic=20810 - and used the modified INF and it worked!

I can now adjust the colour settings, etc just like I wanted to.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards

John
