I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS30E. The Green wireless light is not working - no Wireless. Please Help!!

I was hoping that someone might be able to help me with my Wireless issue.

Any help people can provide would be much appreciated.

Hi Elmo,

Please check the following: -

1.  Is the physical sliding wireless switch on the front of your computer in the 'ON' position?

2.  Is the software wireless switch turned on in VAIO Smart Network?  Double-click on the small green/blue square in the system tray (bottom right of screen) and check that the box next to 2.4GHz Wireless Lan is set to 'ON'.

Once i double clicked on it a few times it seemed to kick back in to action.
