I need Help with some questions about my vaio!

I have a sony vaio VGN FZ21M and i need to know: Does my battery destroy if i leave it in my laptop all time if it is full charged? Does it have a protection when it is full charged to stop the power? Does my FZ21M have a blue-ray that can write blue ray discs or it can only read them ? Thank you.

Hi, just bouhgt the same laptop. My question:
Tried to make a recovery disc, but after two clicks on VAIO recovery center I got this message: "Failed to create empty document". Thanks for a solution....
