installing sound drivers on xp pro

my vgn-n11m/w crashed out big time so i installed my own xp pro and used the sony site to download all the drivers etc that it has for my laptop but i still can't get the sound driver to work
i know it says i need to install kb835221 hotfix but i can't seem to find it, i've installed all updates from windows update that comes up including all optional downloads but i still can't get the sound card to install.

please help

thanks Rich, i know have sound again wish my laptop came with startup cd(s) as that would of made it work straight away i belive but mine didn't come with any, never mind at least it all works now
