Is My Laptop Faulty?

Hi, i have had my VGN-FS515H Vaio Laptop for a month now and the screen has been flashin every now and then, and just 10minutes ago my screen flashed and then turned off and went a funny purple colour, so i had to turn my computer on again and then it was fine, and also my batterie had just shot down from 98% to 68% and i only charged it last night, please please help, can anyone tell me if it faulty at all....thank you ..clair:smileycry:

The Problem does look like it could be power related.I suggest having your battery tested,it may be failing.Also check your Power Management settings are correct.Also try your System on Mains with the Battery in and see if you have similar problems.It may be worth having your Screen checked too as a precaution,that would have to be done as Servicing though.Do you have the most uptodate Graphics Drivers on too.

There's been a lot of reports about this on the forum lately, people having rainbow coloured screens. Definately worth talking to VAIO-Link about this as that really shouldn't happen.

Thanks for all the replys, this laptop is less than a month old and i haven't gone through any settings and changed anything, so i don't know why it did that, i have to wait to talk to sony helpline as its bank holiday now, my laptop is working perfectly now, its very confusing .
