LAN/WLAN hinder start up of JPG's, DOC's or other files

Hallo all, I hope you understand me, because my english isn't the best:
My VGN-FE11S is 10 month old and since a few weeks I have problems to open files. But only, if the LAN or WLAN is on! I have to wait up to 40 seconds till the file is open, no matter if a network is connectet or not. During this waitingtime the CPU ist not working to capacity (only up to 3 %), also RAM and LAN. Without the LAN or WLAN it opens at once. Where is my problem? Is there anybody who can answer in german?!!

Do you have any Mapped Network Drives in Windows Explorer? Especially ones with a red cross against them.

Your Vaio is probably looking for Network Shares that are not physically connected.
