I have a 2012 model S Series Sony Vaio laptop.
I have turned off the automatic screen brightness but there seems to be another auto brightness option that is really annoying me. If I switch from a dark screen, movie or website and then switch to one where most of the sceen is bright colours (like this website is mostly white), then I can see that the screen also brightens in small incriments, although not something that shows on the screen brightness meter. Also the oposite happens if I switch back to a darker image or screen.
Automatic brightness is definitely off so I really don't know why it's doing this!
