Laptop Cooling

Hi all, i need some advice on laptop cooling, i have a s2xp and the bottom right can get quite warm. Would it be okay to place an external case fan underneath to help cool it.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yeah, that would help.

Also, download a CPU temperature monitor to keep tabs on the important heat (if you haven't done so already:smileyhappy: )

Could someone tell me where to get a cpu temperature monitoring software and at what temperature a centrino should be kept at.

You'lll have to look at your computer's specifications to find out the maximum operating temperatures but This might help

This is a universal Mobile Meter . Not very exciting interface but it works great. The other good thing is you don't have to clutter up your program files as it just executes without system files needed. Happy temperature perving

Didn't GBS build a mod for his VAIO with a desktop fan?
