LATEST BIOS (R0170X5) DOES NOT SOLVE THERMAL FAN CONTROL PROBLEM!!!

I have updated from previous bios version to the latest (R170X5) for my vaio BX197XP. I hoped that this would solve the thermal fan problem which has been an issue for vaio laptops.

Unfortunately it got even worse!!! The thermal fan never goes off, it is always on!!!!! In addition the hard drive regularly switches off which some how slows down a computer.

PLEASE, any one - is there any way to roll back to previous Bios version?

I don´t know your model but at older vaios often the fan is often working permanently because of heat. I think it is a problem of construction esp. at desktop CPUs.
