little problem with my Vaio AR31S

Hello....fist of all, sorry for my english!
I have a Vaio AR31S but since a few weeks I have two problems
Fistr...: There's a messagge : error Raid 0, I just did the backup. but no change!
Second : the notebook don't recognize the battery than don't re charge it
There's sameone who can help me? Thank you for all, bye!

Hi docsara,

It sounds like your battery has failed and you may need to buy a new one. The best way to check is to borrow a battery (if you can) either from a friend or from a Vaio shop and see if a new battery cures the problem.

The RAID 0 error can either be a false warning or it could mean that one of your hard drives is about to fail. I suggest you always keep your Vaio backed up just in case. It usually happens after downloading a lot of data from somewhere like iTunes.

You can get your drives checked out or you can just turn off the warning messages and hope for the best.

Check you have the latest Intel SATA driver installed and try turning off the error message.

To stop the error message: -

2. Search all programs -> Intel Matrix Storage Manager
3. Right-click and 'Run as Administrator'
4. In the Intel Matrix Storage Console, choose 'advanced view'.
5. One of your drives ("Port 0" or "Port 1") will show an error.
6. Change its status to 'Normal' (I think you do this by right-clicking on the drive or choosing 'Actions')
