i am putting allofmy albums onto my vaio. it took me an hour to put 8 dream theatre albums onto it is there any way i can make them go on to the vaio faster because i was in a rush to putalbums on once coz i was goin down to london. and i didnt get chance to put all thealbums i wanted onbecausethe speed is too slow. my friends creative zen had 5000 songs put onto it in just over 6 hours.

The first time I put music on it took forever. now It takes about 3 seconds to put an album on. Took me all of 5 mins to put over 5gigs worth of albums on the other day using sonicstage and converting them.

no it always take about 10 mins to put 1 album on

Track that are directly transfered in MP3 format take seconds. It depends on if your converting them to ATRAC, as it will take longer.

5000 track for me takes around 10 hours when converting them into ATRAC. When there is no conversion it only takes just over 1 hour.

Check what settings your using.
