Losing wi-fi connection on VGN-NR11S/S

Hi, for the last few weeks my wi-fi connection has been playing up, if I close my laptop and open it again the wi-fi light on the front goes out and my connection is lost. The only way of getting it back on is to resart even switching the switch on the front has no effect.

Any ideas?

have you installed the VAIO Smart Network 1.2.01.13070 update.?
