Hi All, Got a PCG-GRX316MP that I've had... since they were new! Came with original 256 ram and immediately added another 256. Trouble is, as much as I love this laptop 512 just don't cut it anymore. Please, please, please tell me that I can somehow get the BIOS to see more memory than that, otherwise I'm gonna have to put this Vaio out to graze and get me a new Mac.

William fitted 1GB in his GRX316MP and if I remember correctly so did that guy on VAIOVillage

Hey Kee-Lo, Thanks for replying... Any chace of letting me know how to contact either of these guys so I can talk direct about their machines, as Sony tell me there's a chipset on the m/b that will only recognise 512.

No idea how to contact William, but Adam's on VAIOVillage, he wrote a guide on upgrading the GRX316MP, so you should be able to speak to him
