MemoryStick Duo not recognised

My PCV-RX201 recognises a 64Mbyte memory stick but not a 256 Mbyte memorystick duo in adapter.
Does anyone know why/

Hi Chrismm and welcome to the forum.

Not sure about this but the problem may be that the 256 Mbyte memory stick is ‘Dou Pro’, not all Sony devices will recognise this.

If it is a "Pro" issue, have you tried VAIO LINK . I only looked under XP but there are two Memory Stick updates for your model which together may reolve the problem.

If it helps Kee-Lo my RZ did (in its adapter) and it is a LEXON not Sony :smileygrin: .

But if you are talking PSP you won't really need to remove it from the PSP, instead just connect the PSP with a USB cable.
