Microphone is missing

Hi, I was going to install skype when I realized that my laptop doesn't seem to have a microphone. I can't believe that, could that possibly be true? My Vaio is quite new, but I don't have the exact type declaration of it with me ( or is it wiitten somewhere on the device...? ):smileysad:
