Microsoft Update won't allow laptop to hibernate

Hello,

So basically I just finished typing up an essay and decided to turn the laptop off - or in my case put it in hibernation mode.

But this error keeps coming up and won't let me hibernate the laptop

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Bianca,

nice to hear from you again..

Try this..

Press ctrl + alt & del keys to open the Task Manager.

In the task manager window click on the Processes tab.

Locate and click on netfxupdate.exe then click on end process.
