Just bought an RS406 with what is supposedly a 160 GB hard drive. When I checked, it was only 147 and that includes the space used for the pre installed software. Has anyone else got the same problem?
I have 8 hours of raw DV footage from a round the world trip. at about 12 gbyte per hour of video, im at 100 gbytes already. add to that, the edited versions, and adobe premiere rendering files, Ive found that 160 gbytes is filling up quickly. Ive added a second 160 gbyte drive just for the editing work.
and I haven't done anything illegal!!! :smileyrolling_eyes:
Cool sounds like a good project.
That should take up a few DVDs
by the time Ive edited it down, it comes out at about 2 1/2 hours, about 2 and a bit DVD's. I'll also make a quick motage of the whole trip to last 10 - 12 minutes, to fill up the third DVD.
Sounds like it took a long time to edit this film.
it took around 10 hours per hour, plus rendering to mpeg, plus DVD creation. lots of time, yes, but a labour of love.
