I have uninstalled the supplied T-mobile software that came with this laptop & am using Globetrotter Connect with a Three Mobile (PAYG) SIM card following procedures described on this forum & the 3Gforum. I am able to connect to the internet & receive SMS OK but am unable to send SMS.
Although I have to admit, this is not a major issue, I would quite like this functionality & am a little perplexed as to why this should be happening.
Modem commands in Hyperterminal confirm the correct Service Centre Address for Three. Attempting to send SMS from Hyperterminal using AT commands gives CMS error 500.
I would welcome any assiatance in the resolution of this issue &/or to hear if others have had similar problems!
