Motherboard replacement needed P4SD-VX

The motherboard on my PCV-RZ322 needs replacement and I cannot find a source.
The motherboard is model P4SD-VX rev 1.03, and I believe it is made by Asus.
Can anyone help me source one please? I am in the UK.
Or is there an equivalent (socket 478) I can use to fit the case ?
Thanks

Hi,

You could try buying one from Nextronics - but I'd personally go and download Sandra and find out what the specs of my motherboard are and see if I can get something that's similar but better for your needs (oh and a better PSU if it's the standard ATX size)

The motherboard is already bust so I cannot run Sandra.

Thanks

Identify your CPU and type of socket then get yourself an Asus motherboard (Asus make Sony Mobo's) and a standard PSU.

I made the mistake of buying a new case but with hindsight and a bit of modding I reckon you can retain your existing case (this enables you to retain the memory card readers etc.

Try Ebuyer for good prices.

Nearly forgot you will have to reactivate your XP by phone (tell them you have replaced the Mobo) and your recovery disks will no longer work (invest in a copy of Norton Ghost)
