I hope someone can help. I purchased a VPCEB1EOE last week and cannot get the motioneye web cam to work reliably. Most of the time webcam applications say 'webcam not found or not working properly'. The device does not appear under device manager either...most of the time. However, it has worked on two occasions, so I suspect there is a software conflict rather than a hardware problem. The OS is Windows7 and I have tried a full factory reset. The cam did not work following the factory reset, or following applying windows updates and vaio updates. However, on two occasions the OS has 'found' the cam and it has worked in Arcsoft, Skype, etc.
Any help or suggestions gratefully received. I'm still waiting for Sony to get back to me.
