I bought my PCG-TR (PCG 481M) little laptop second hand a year or two ago. The webcam (listed as sony visualization camera) used to take pictures fine. Now I would like to use it on skype to communicate with my children abroad, it has stopped working and only shows a grey box! I used an internet driver detection programme which said the driver was up to date. I don't know whether it means its broken, whether its fixable, or whether it is a software problem that needs fixing. I've looked throgh the forum and read about other webcam problems but none mentioned anything about the grey box problem. Is there anyone who can give me some advice? Thanks in advance!
