my music jumps when playing itunes,

please help my music keeps jumping , when playing itunes music..

played on sony vaio vgcv2s

. any help would be greatful...

Has it just started doing this?

Is it only with iTunes or does it happen with WMP?

Is your hard drive transfrerring data in DMA Mode? Go to Device Manager -> IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers-> Primary IDE Channel -> Advanced Settings and make sure the Current Transfer Mode is Ultra DMA.
