My notebook fan makes a irritating noise,is it normal!

I have a vaio VGNS4HP/B, i bought it 2 weeks ago, but i have verified that the fan of the pc make a irriating sound , i would like to know if this is normal and if its not what can i do about it ,is there any software to correct this or should i send it to sony ,or is it just like this !

it makes a rrrrr ..... sound but a low sound but its enough to irritate u in a queit place!

if the sound is not like the fan is broken or cracked, thats ok,
if the fan is makin enough wind, so it must be fine, do u have 1 or 2 fans? but i suggest if ur annoyed, return it to the retailer where u bought it and everything would be FINE!!
