My Sony VGN wont start and have flushing light on the Lid

My Sony VGN wont start and have flushing light on the side, i have totally removed the battery  and unplugged everything, removed and replaced the HDD and the RAM no Joy,

I have separated the battery from the laptop over night and all day yesterday but no joy,

Any ideas?

What colour is the flashing light?

it's a VGN-fe21L

Green coloir flushing slowling on the side. around the turn on and off button.

The green flashing power button indicator means that the Vaio is in Standby Mode.
