My Vaio PCG - fx705 broke down - mainboard

The main board in my Sony Vaio PCG - fx705 broke down. I don't want to buy enother mainboard (it cost almost the same as I paid for the laptop). Do you have any idea how to fix that laptop I main: From what laptop series mainboard suits to my Sony Vaio PCG - fx705 (or where can I find such information).

How do you know its the Mainboard.It could be anything realy.Have it Diagnosed by someone first before you start spending money.

I don't know where you got a quote from but THIS PLACE may be cheaper even with shipping from the USA.

If still too expensive the part numbers may give you some idea of how common the motherboard is to the FX series.

BTW the majority of model numbers are American so your model may/may not be listed. If not and you are unsure email them.
