My windows dont shutdown

Hi,
I Format my vaio fe-31m, but now (after install webcam), windows dont shutdown... "Windows is shutdown" But nothing...

Only shutdown with webcam disable... I need help.. Sorry for my bad english..

Software: Windows xp media center 2005 En.

Software: Windows XP MCE 2005
Hardware: Vaio FE-31M

Have you downloaded all the drivers from www.vaio-link.com?

Hi malcriado and welcome to Club Vaio.

To fix the problem try this:
1. Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. In Device Manager, expand Imaging devices.
3. Right-click the USB camera, and then click Properties.
Note The USB camera is typically located under Imaging devices in Device Manager. However, the camera may be located elsewhere, depending on the device.
4. Click the Power Management tab, and then click to clear the 'Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power' check box.

There is a Microsoft Hotfix you can try if this does not work

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909667

You can download this Hotfix from SONY USA but there is only an English version.

But i dont have Power management tab, and power man. is installed on my computer..

Have you tried the KB909667 Hotfix from HERE

It may not install if you are using a non-English OS.
