I have recently installed the new bios for the Sony Vaio VPCSA2C5E.
Since this, whenever I have the external battery connected (the extra slice), the primary battery indicates as "Not Present". Also it will keep warning me when the external battery drains down, even though I know the internal battery is fully charged.
The only way to use the internal battery at the moment is to take off the external, reboot the machine, and then it realises it has the internal battery... However if I then put the external back on, it goes back to forgetting it ever had one.
Is there any way I can resort back to the old BIOS to help fix this? All i could find on the site is the latest BIOS, which I urge you all to avoid.
