No Bluetooth on VGN-NR38M

Since I bought this notebook I have never been able to install drivers for a bluetooth dongle (now tried 3)
I downloaded the Broadcom installer but it say "can't open Bluetooth stack"
Is this a Sony thing like they nobled the sound recording on this model??
The USB ports are all working fine for every thing else I plug in.

I doubt this. Have you checked that the Bluetooth adapter is compatible with Vista?

Yes it/they are (I have bought 3 dongles now:)
All three work plug and play in my wife's Acer laptop but I just get this "Can't load bluetooth stack" on the Sony.
It asks for the install disk but of course I never got one and it will not acept the recovery disks I made.
I am now giving up and will order a usb lead for my phone.
