no search on this forum? and prob with recovery CD

Um, am i blind or is there no search facility on this forum ??? weird ..
Reason why Im here is because my Vaio Desktop PCV-RX302 wont work with the recovery CD. I've tried everything and it keeps erroring. 1stly says "partition too small" but also does error code 3,4 and 5 on the custom recovery options .. I havent changed the partitions and i have reset the bios.

30Gb? What on earth for? Even XP and a recovery partition don't add up to that. That's irritiating I bet it's the same on mine, and I wanted to trim it down to about 10.

Thats what I thought TT - we have similar systems (mines a K115B), and the hard disk is 2x20GB as standard so 10GB would be OK on my system...

Didn't ever think it had to be larger than that - wonder how M$ Windows XP Setup would configure it - DISKPART seems much better (NB Not for the faint-hearted).
