No sound???

The sound on my vaio has stopped working. Anyone know how to resolve this problem?

go to control panel, then hardware and sound, then device manager, scroll down the list to sound etc click the little plus sign to open another little list find your audio device then uninstall it then re install it, hope this helps as it worked for me.

Have you installed any updates.?
