noise feedback through the screen -VGN-C1S

New to Vaios but I am getting annoying feedback through the screen if volume turned up more than half way.Screen also amplifies the sound of tapping on it!!
Is this a common problem? My sister has same laptop and when her sound is on full-no problem.
Warranty issue?-the sound is so low on half measure it's poor to say the least.

As your sister has the same model without these problems, I would first try taking your C1 back to the retailer for an exchange...

problem solved by muting microphone in applications/entertainment/volume control

Was going to say mute the mic as it's feedback, or turn the volume down
