I just bought a VGN A115M. All is fine, but the DVD drive ( Matshita UJ 820D) don´t open mechanically. I only can open it by using the emergency pin.

Is this a general problem, or shall I change the notebook using my guarantee

If you've just bought it, take it back for a refund or replacement.
