Gish_X, it really would not surprise me at all if Sony went and released the FS2 series with the exact same problems, why? because they've done it before! The loud fan on the S series for example, did they solve the problem for the S2's? NO! how about the S3's? NO! there's other problems aswell that they have not solved when bringing out new versions.
The reason Sony are bringing out new FS2's is because they don't give a s**t about solving peoples problems, but they will take your money though! That's probably why they are shipping a new revision so quick, words getting around about how many problems people are having with the FS series, so they wanna get them out quick before people get wise!

Yes, I agree that most notebooks by other brands look pretty crap, how Sony must love that fact! People keep coming back for more Sony because of this alone, never mind quality. Sony, bettter wise up quick that most of us won't sacrafice quality just for something that happens to look good. I have not got money to throw away!
