There is a possibility that this is network related. Check in device Manager that the Network Adaptor setting for Power Management is not set to allow the device to bring the computer out of standby.
Right click My Computer icon and select properties > Hardware > Device Manager > Network Adaptors > then select the network adaptor that you use to connect > Right click and select Properties > Power Management tab.
