NVIDIA geforce 8400M GT drivers for 64 bit Windows7

Hi,

I have Vaio VGN-AR51J for several years, with Windows Vista. Now I decided to upgrade my current OS to 64 bit Windows 7 Enterprice.

At the moment I`m looking for Nvidia Geforce 8400M GT  graphic card  and memory card Memory stick reader/writer drivers(Magic gate) drivers.

No guarantees as Windows 7 64-bit is not supported by Sony on your model - but I would try the following drivers: -

nVidia Graphics Driver 8.15.11.8540_0910130 64-bit from the Windows 7 downloads for the VGN-AW11Z from here: -

I know the AW11Z has the 9600M chip but I would expect it to install.

The memory card drivers are not OS dependent so you just need a 64-bit Texas Instruments Memory Card Driver.  Sony have made someunofficial Vista 64-bit drivers available.  I think you need Download: EP0000140007.zip from here: -

memory car driver not working from sony support site, even is not a driver.

I downloaded drivers for texas instrument pcixx12 from : http://forum.vista-driver.org/index.php?showtopic=285&pid=1871&st=0&#entry1871 , and now my memory card reader working properly.

Just found 8400m GT drivers from Vista 64 and instaled. Working! Happy now

Now left to find drivers for: DVD eject buton; mute; S1 and S2 butons; play,stop,pause ,etc butons.Any ideas where from I can get drivers for these butons?

You will need to find some 64-bit Sony Utilities to get these to work.  I don't think these exist for your model so you may have to try them from another Vaio.

It sounds to me like you need: -

Sony Shared Library

Vaio Event Service
