I know this is a late reply but there is no such think as an air lock in side a laptop, but presumably you laptop fan may be very dusty which causes a very weird rotation, get a hover and hover out all the dust, make sure you dont put the hover to close to the laptop fan, IF YOU DO YOUR FAN MIGHT BE SUCKED OF THE MAGNETIC SYSTEM, which will cause a slight run down on the fan.
