pcg-fr315s tv out ?

I HAVE A SONY VAIO PCG-FR315S WHICH HAS A AV OUT SOCKET FOR
CONNECTING A TV, I HAVE A LEAD FROM THIS TO 3 RCA PLUGS PLUS A SCART
ADAPTOR, I CAN GET AUDIO FROM THE TV, BUT NO VIDEO. I KNOW THAT
PRESSING Fn=F7 GETS ME A 3 SELECTION OPTION FOR SCREEN/TV ETC, BUT
APART FROM THAT I'M STUMPED AND WOULD LIKE SOME HELP PLEASE,
ESPECIALLY IF YOU CAN POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION TO OBTAIN THIS
INFORMATION. THANKS ALAN

You may also need to 'switch on' your TV on the display menu on your PC.

Goto display properties > settings > advanced > displays

You probably notice that there is a red button next to the TV - just click that to enable it, then try switching to the TV again using Fn+F7

Make sure the TV is on before the VAIO too.

Try fn+F8. If it doesn't work, hit it a second time

Thanks guys for the quick response, but I only have 2 options on the display properties:-

1. Sony Notebook LCD (1024x76:smileycool: on RADEON IGP 345M or
2. (default Monitor) on RADEON IGP 345M

NO mention of TV?? please help more, thanks Alan
