pcg-k415s turns on but no display or sound

my vaio pcg-k415 took a fall of less than a foot it turns on now but with no sound or display. can anyone help as to what the fault is please. i have taken out the battery and put it back in, also taken out the hard drive and put that back in with no success

When the laptop turns on as you say, can you here the fan and HDD working?

Have you tried plugging the laptop into an external monitor? That would be the first thing to do in this situation just to narrow down the search.

Please let me know what happens when you try this.
