PCG-R600MX memory upgrade

Hey,

I have a pcg-r600mx vaio and want to increase the memory on it. I have read conflicted accounts of what the maximum is. I really want to be able to put a 512MB stick in and have it register for use within the OS.

Can this be done ? If so, how ?

As can be seen on Vaio-link : Vaio-link memory Upgrade page

There is one slot with a 128 Mb fixed Memory module. The Bios is probably not supporting more than 512 MB but this means indeed the maximum additional memory that can be installed will be 256 Mb.
