Hi,
I have a Vaio PCG-GRT816S with a nVidia GeForce FX Go5600 with updated drivers. I find very strange that most part of the games I install and play run toooooooo slooooooowly, even when the system requirements aren't so demanding! So far I've tried to play:
- Command & Conquer Generals
- Far Cry
- Deus Ex 2
- Hitman Contracts
- ....
I didn't manage to play any of these because they were running so slow it was impossible to! I have enough disk space for virtual memory and I even closed all the unneeded background processes that consume resources...
I know that a laptop is hardly a gaming platform but I wander if any of you guys is experiencing the same problem with these or other games?

max payne 1 is a bummer too, but guess what max payne 2 works perfectly, why!!! some people say its 2 do with direct x version installed. i say balls its all 2 do with bad programming and graphic card testing that why we have stinking patchs etc.
