Please help me??

Hi everyone!
I have bought a new notebook FS-VGN295 and I’m working lot whit graphic programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. When I press shift and hold it for a couple of seconds the computer will be very slow and will hang, then I have to release it. Someone who can help what I can do?

Welcome to the forum,
You just mention two of my favorite programs Flash 8 being another. I am running with 512meg of RAM which means I should be suffering but I'm not. I have allocated my scratch disk to D drive in photoshop cs2 and you can access that by holding the shift key when photoshop is starting up. Another thing is I have my HD defraged over and over until it defrags within 30 seconds. This will be the main culprit I suspect. Once the HD is conditioned you should only need to defrag occassionally. I also reccommend Perfect Disk and finally try Tune Up Utilities 2006 from herehere free for 30 days and only £14. Grab the Lynda.com training and Total Training series and you will be totally pro. Good Luck
