PNK START UP SCREEN

Help I have a AR51M laptop which has started to show a pink screen on startup, my machine is not even two years old. any idea's as i have been told this might be a back light problem.

I would hope that this is not the case as you would think it should last longer than two years.

Any suggestions would be greatfull.

try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

Do you get the same pink screen when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

mine had a pink line through the centre, new sceen at less than a year old.
