poor quality pictures

hi everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR.
recently i uploded lot of still photos taken on sony M1 to vaio pocket to show friends.
but i am appalled at the quality on the screen.is it a known problem?.they were all high resolution pictures.

any advice

Hi

You have the option of viewing in quick or high quality mode, open a photo in the viewer and the the fourth button across and down (on the touchpad) is the one you want (looks like 4 squares and nine squares)

No, I've downloaded a load of pictures and the quality is fine. I did do it from my PC though. So maybe this makes a difference.
