Port Replicator Problems (VGP-PRS20)

Hi, I have just purchased a new VPCSB Vaio with the compatible VGP-PRS20 Port Replicator / Dock but when i dock my Vaio into the Port Replicator the Vaio doesnt recognise it and none of the connections on the dock including power are functioning? Can someone please advise me if i am doing something wrong?

Hi,

Did you find a solution ? I have a Sony Vaio Série S which does not fit in the docking station and I think that the connector is reversed. PRS20 has been deprecated so I wonder if the could not be a manufacturing problem. I would like to hear from someone having no problem.
