Printing photo's from my VGN-N38/W

Hi all. Would really appreciate some advice. I have printed a couple of pics direct from the VGN-N38 package through my HP photosmart C4100. I have windows VISTA installed. However they appear faded. Any ideas on a good photo package, ie....would the Adobe Photoshop 5, give better results. Thanks for any advice. ZYG

Exactly what "package" do you refer to? I mean there are several possibilities. If the photo itself is not too good in quality then Photoshop would at least give you lot's of tools to work on the picture.
Did you try to print the pictures direct from the printer (without VAIO) and how do they look then (assuming this printer has this feature)? At least you could find out whether the problem is with the printer or with the software, if the picture itself is of good quality...
Is there a possiblity to print in "draft" or "high quality" in the "package" you use? The quality depends of course also on the paper used...
