Problem after Recovery

Hi there everybody!

A few days ago I recovered my Vaio Vgn Fs 115m, with the dvds I 'd made when I first bought it.

The problem is that after the recovery, the 'Fn' key doesn't work, and I cannot change the volume of the music, or the brightness of the screen..

Any ideas?

Hi babyboy and welcome to the forum.

If you have a folder C:\Utils then navigate to this – otherwise download and extract the pre-installed utilities from Vaio-Link

Then install the following utilities (in this order):

1 Sony Utilities (installer folder 1)
2 Sony Shared Library (installer folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service (installer folder 6)

Re-boot and all should be working – if not then repeat the process a couple of times.
