All of a sudden we have no connection to the internet and windows media player is not working either? My VAIO model is VPCEB1EOE; I have gone into control panel and selected Hardware and Sound, selected Device Manager and the follow code comes up? ::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{74246BFC-4C96-11D0-ABEF-0020AF6B0B7A} The specified service does not exist as an installed service. HELP??

Try to reinstall the LAN driver and update the windows media player to latest version. Check whether you have installed any unwanted software in the add or remove programs.
