Please advise.
My notebook stopped loading normally, however I still able to boot in Rescue/Restore mode by using F10 key. In this mode some limited Windows version is loaded with the only utility for Restore available.
In some repair company they told me that HDD is broken and needs to be replaced (and all data will be lost).
Can this be true? Because I still able to load in Restore mode, which I think means that HDD works. Or does Vaio stores this Restore Image and system on some kind of flash?
