just got my a317m, and have been putting music on to my vaio pocket, until I hit a problem. A couple of my cds, ones that I really want on it (Busta rhymes: genesis, Coldplay: a rush of blood to the head), just wont play on my a317m, i put them in and the computer just makes unusual noises, then when i press eject it wont eject the cd until about 20-30 secs later. just wonderin if anyone can tell me the reasons for this, or whether i have a problem, or just simply there are certain cds that my computer just doesn't like to play. cheers!
Are they CopyControl CDs?
I think Coldplay's one was.
never thought of that, eitherway, im not sure how to tell whether they are copy control or not. could you tell me how please. or help me with any other methods of getting the music on to my vaio pocket, cheers!!
On the case you will see this sign:
Some programs can rip them, but not sure if I am allowed to mention them
ok mate, cheers anyway yeah, thanks for ya help.
Have you tried the WindowsMediaPlayer or Encoder?
Try to ripp the CD into WAVE and then convert it into Atrac3
That doesn't work well Seb, they distort when ripped too fast apparently too
Mmmmh, with EAC you can ripp a CD in realtime.(you need approx one hour to ripp one CD, if you have one hour music on the CD)
But CopyControlled CDs with EAC?
I'm not sure whether I can say....
LOL, Kee-Lo
not here, he must try it self
the good thing on EAC is, that you can ripp in the most Audioformats. Uninteresting wheter AAC, MP3, MPC, OggVorbis, Lame, etc.
