hello everybody,
i got a new 17"TFT some days ago.
the first strange thing that happened when i plugged it on was that the plug and displayplay function didn´t launche as it used to do with other screens i have used before. second thing i noticed when i got the screen running in DualView thru the NVIDIA Display menue was, that typografy on the second screen seemed to be blury. On a closer look i noticed that there seem to be white pixels next to vertikal black strokes on gray background (i´m using the old windowsstyle), But then i took a screenshot and zoomed in. Everything on that seems to be right.
but the letters on the screen still seem blury.
can it be that the analog signal of my vaio VGN-S5M is to week to power the second Panel?
The second screen i use is a Hyundai ImageQuest Q70U (300cd/m² contrast 700:1 3ms)
Does anyone have an idea what may cause the bluryness?
Do i need to change some settings?
Would it work better if i would get the dockingstation with the digital connection?
Or should i get another type of screen (maybe a PVA)?
i would appreciate any suggestions.
